Dear All
I am trying to put together my fathers family tree very urgently as he is very ill) and there is one area im stuck on-information on the death of his grandfather.
I have the death certificate for James Snelling (born 1861 or 1862, wife Pricilla Hunt, James died May 10th 1904) but there was an inquest held on the May 14th 1904 (coroner-J.Troutbeck).
Can you please assist on the best way to go for this information, I am in Australia and am having a lot of problems accessing anything, I am led to believe inquest info may be held at London Metropolitan Archives.
Death certificate reads asphyxia by drowning Grovesnor Bridge, River Thames, Battersea. The story through the family was he was stabbed on the bridge and I am desperately trying to confirm."Certification recieved from J.Troutbeck Coroner S.W London. Inquest held 14th May 1904"
I would really appreciate any assistance.

Regards Hayley :)
