I have two death certificates for relatives who died at birth or very young. Both say that the place of burial was Packard Cemetery in Seneca (now Seneca Twp), Michigan. (See certificates attached, if interested.)

I guess the Packard Cemetery is now called Porter Cemetery. I spoke with the county clerk (since there is no office for this cemetery) in Lenawee County and she said there is one "Vaughn" buried in that cemetery, but only one. And she's not certain it's either of my Vaughns.

So, generally speaking, what could have happened to the other? Would or could the parents (others?) have changed their minds after the death certificates were drawn up and bury the deceased elsewhere? Any thoughts you all have would be greatly appreciated. I'm not sure which way to go to find their final resting place.
