My g grandfather served in the RIC. His name was Bartholomew (Bartley) Dockrey. I believe he was orginally from Roscommon. He is listed as acting sergeant in Templemore, Co. Tipperary in 1884 on his civil marriage record. By 1901 he is listed as an RIC pensioner. He married Mary Kate Treacy in Templemore in 1894. If there is anyone who could help with a lookup of service or pension records I would be really grateful. I live in the USA and a trip to Kew is a bit difficult. I understand that the RIC on ancestry are incomplete. Thanks in advance for your help.
