JOHN FERMAN was my great grandfather. I am researching to find more details or the other parties involved and the actual case or prision records. John Ferman was wrongfully accused and spent 10-15somewhere yrs for a crime he didnt commit. From what i understand he was released when a free man confessed to the crime on his death bed. This wrongful conviction left my grandmother, Martha Ferman, and 7 otger living siblings with no parents as their mother, Johns wife (Ella Ferman) died just years prior to the conviction.
