Local Citizen's and Sheriff shot Tracy while he was running through a field in Eastern Washington. Later the Sheriff and local citizens heard a single gunshot and the next morning found Tracy in the field with a self inflicted gun shot wound that ended his life. Tracy killed several law officers and killed his owner partner in crime.
