Joel Hester, Ted Lucas, Larry Walsborn and Tracy Harrison were also Police Officers in the Okanogan Police Department during the 1970's & 1980's. Mike Jaquish (Michael James Jaquish) was the last Okanogan City Police Chief before the department was disbanded in 1987. Mike then took a job providing security and Intel services for the US State Department, United Nations and NASA in West Africa where he worked until returning the the United States in 1996 to write books and work as an International Security Consultant and trainer for various private security firms including BRINK'S, INCORPORATED, Blackwater USA and Stronghold Armored.
