I know this is a long shot, but I'm looking for information on Elizabeth James (born about 1860), married to Lewis Ayers. Their daughter Linda Haden Ayers married H. Chester Scoggin. Supposedly, Elizabeth was a cousin of Jesse James. I am not related, I'm posting this for a friend who does not have computer access. Thanks for any info.
