It is posible to examine the publication for yourself if it's in the catalogue of a library near you or you know of a library that can arrange an inter-library loan for you.

Thanks for your response - It is a relief to realise there is further information regarding our ancestor William Derbyshire (9706)

Is it possible for me to look up your source of information, and could you also explain the meaning of the abbreviations TL 03.12.1871 / CF 04.07.1883?

Are there any means to identify if he had famliy?

Convict ship 'Hougoumont'

We are trying to find out what happened to William Darbyshire or Derbyshire (9706); sentence to 10years; aged 30; sentenced at Derby on 1st January 1867 for Felony & stealing a jacket. He arrived on the convict ship ‘Hougoumont’in Fremantle on January 9, 1868.
He was born 1837 Darley Dale, Derby, England
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
