Hatfield-McCoy Feud History
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what specific kinds of weapons or guns were used in the Hatfield and McCoy fued. My dad is very interested in this, maybe because we are from the "real" Hatfields. :) Thanks in advance for any replies.

Re: Hatfield-McCoy Feud History
There are many excellent books on the feud and the Hatfield and McCoy families. I'd start with one entitled "The Hatfields," by G. Elliott Hatfield, which received a third printing in 1997. It contains what I believe to be a very good indexed genealogy. It might be available by contacting the Big Sandy Valley Historical Society, 319 F.M. Stafford Avenue, Paintsville, Kentucky 41240.
Hope this helps.
