When Martha Lou married the second time, the family did not communicate much. I have pics a pic of Sandra Kay, Frankie Johnson (son of sis (Mary) and myself . We look to be about 7 or 8 years old. She and I played together a lot at Grandma Garrett's and family outings. I was born in 1942. I remember the day Edward dropped beside a tree in our side yard at 1402 4th Avenue right before he died. He and Aunt Pearl had taken him to a chiropractor and apparently he had a blood clot in the leg and when they worked on him, it caused it to go to his heart and kill him. He died in the VA Hospital, if I am correct. The marriage was in trouble at that time. Sandra Kay had a brother, Bobby. I guess you know all this. Slick had a son, Michael and a daughter, Sheila. Sissy had Frankie Johnson and Libby Johnson Spears, moved out west and divorced. Willie Sherman,had a daughter out of wed lock, but never heard much about her. How many children did Sandra Kay have? Grandma Garrett's father was Wallace Hatfield and I dont know if he was a brother or possibly a nephew of Devil Anse. The Judge in the movie was "Wall" which was short for Wallace. I am still researching.
I remember as a child going to visit the Well's family in Chesapeake, Ohio with our family. Guess this was Martha Lou's family.
