I am seeking any information on Matthew Pearson Thompson

Matthew Pearson THOMPSON, convicted at the Surrey assizes on 29/3/1813, received 14 years, convicted of embezzlement. Departed 26/8/1813 on the General Hewitt. Arrived 7/2/1814, Port Jackson, Australia.

In 1814 Matthew Pearson Thompson established a school in Pitt Town and taught there until 1818.
