Looking for James WARWICK, born 7 July 1809 in Ridgmont, Bedfordshire, 14 yrs. Transportation to Coal River, VDL (Tasmania) arriving on 24 May 1836. This is new info. He was Appropriated to Major De Gillern of Glen Ayre at Coal River (now Richmond) in VDL until he got his Ticket of Leave 23 Dec. 1844 and Conditional Pardon 5 October 1847. The trail is cold after this. The Cornelian Bay Cemetery in Hobart,Tasmania shows a James Warwick buried as a pauper 20 July 1875, age 64. approx. 2 yrs. age difference. They couldn't confirm where he came from. ANY HELP IN CYBERSPACE?
