We are doing some work with the 1910 census and have been encountering the abbreviation "Ata." in the birth place columns. It is frequently, although not always, paired with the ethnicity "English." As a result, we assume it is some possession of the British Empire, but we can't figure out the actual name of the place Any ideas?
