My Uncle at one point asked them some questions, but is never able to stay on the phone long enough for me to get what answers he may remember. He lives close by in the town of Milford, and at some point I plan to go visit to discuss family history, and try to go visit Robert and Susan's gravesites [I've driven past the cemetary before just never been in]. I'm close enough to make it a day trip, but just far enough away that the gas price makes me think twice.
My Grandmother told us that the country club owned their house, and based the New Haven directory, which their address listed on Ridge Rd in one edition, and a year later as "Hartford Turnpike" we believe that their house was right where the two merge. Today there is a house at that intersection, which on google earth looks like it's backyard is the golf course. We don't have pictures of the house in the 1920s so we have no way of knowing if it was their house or not, we are speculating that it could be.
[The 1924 New Haven Directory specifies that they are on the left side while traveling north, which would place it where I just described].
