We do know about the Marion Patterson family in NY who eventually lived in Kansas. What we are trying to do is follow Morgan Patterson who married twice and left Kansas at some time around 1900 with his little family.... to WA and perhaps to Alaska and perhaps to Los Angeles in the teens.
