Classification: Query
James O'Donnell farmed in Glenmakee. I've been told that the land may have been owned by a Mr ? Harvey, or that he was the one who collected rents.
James O'Donnell was born about 1845, m to Susan White Doherty also born about 1845(both I assume somewhere in Co Donegal) They married at Sacred Heart Church in Carndonagh in 1865/1866 or so. Their children were Patrick 1867, John 1868, Neal 1871, Mary Ann 1873, Maggie 1875, Denis 1878, and Philip 1880. The younger children I think could have been born in the Glenmakee area.
I think John O'Donnell worked this farm with James, but since I know of several John O'Donnell, anyway to determine which one.
I'd like any information about this farm, how many acres, who lived there with James/John. all information available.

This family would be my grandmothers-she was Mary Ann dob July 28 1873.

Thank you

Barbara
