By 1901 they were living at Moors Farm, St John's, Cumberland, wiith son Samuel b 1875. Other children Dora, Lizzie and Louisa had married and moved.

No reason to assume dead by 1911 as is mentioned on wedding certificates, also no reason to assume he has moved from the county.
