Infirmity Column blanked out up in 1911 census - why?

I have just looked up one of my ancestors on the 1911 census and I see that the right hand column, where infirmity is recorded, has been carefully covered up with a white strip of paper - it looks new. Either that or that specific column has been blanked out. Anyone know why?
