Im looking for where my grandmother was born. I like to know her parents as we have nothing on them. She was born 1911 in Nova Scotia, Glace Bay as I was told. I seen the NS 1911 census, however, I found name of Mason twice. One was a single person, other was a family. Im looking for Mary Mason, however, being the census was taken in June of 1911, my grandmother was born in April of 1911 or 1912. I found a Thomas 33yrs and Julia 25yrs Mason with two children of Leo 4yrs. and Rosa 2ys. What I need to know is if because my grandmother was not yet a year old, would she be on that census, even though she would have been about 1 month or so old? I do not know if this is any relation to my grandmother. I didnt find any more Mason names, so this is what I had gotten. We do not know anything of either one of my grandparents families. I cannot find anything, any help would be appreciated, thanks. My grandmother then married a Harold LePage. WE do not know where they married nor when. Just that my mother was born about 1935, my grandmothers daughter. So, looking for Mary Mason (My grandfather at times called her "dot", I would imagine short for Dorothy) I have searched hard, but maybe I'm not doing something right or not getting enough info. Thanks for any help.
