I had notice the change in his name Rowitt or Rowett.

I did know that he was married in Lincs England as one of his Son's also called Edward is the father of my great Grandmother. Edward Junior and his wife Betsy went out to Australia around 1858/1860. They went to the Gold fields panning for Gold. They moved around alot as the gold ran out. They had several children while moving around in Australia. My Great Grandmother Emily was born in 1868 Queensland.

Now I need to find out where they went after getting their certifcates of freedom.
