Mount Carbon Cemetery

Classification: Query
Surnames: Bandy and Partlow
I was just reading some of the older posts about finding Mount Carbon Cemetery. I recently inherited my great aunt's family pictures and on the back of one of them it said that my great great grandmother Sarah E. Bandy was buried at Mount Carbon. My great grandfather, Joseph Partlow, was killed in a coal mine explosion in Boomer, WVA. I have been trying to find his burial site. I think there may be a chance that he is also buried there since they died only a year apart. If anyone knows how I can find the burial records, which should be public records, please let me know. If anyone happens to visit this cemetery once the weather improves and happens to see any indication that the miners were buried there together, please let me know that also. Part of the benefit to the widow in 1915 was paid burial expenses. Thank you. Tammy
