Hello, it has been 10 years since you posted your question, but I just came across it today, April 29, 2015. I don't know if you will even still get this message, but I hope so. I found some information about the Bearden Cemetery you were referring to. The Knox County TNGenWeb project has a page about cemeteries in the Knox County, TN area. The research was done and published by Robert McGinnis, the Knox County Cemetery Historian. Here is a link to the page with his info about the cemetery:
http://knoxcotn.org/old_site/cemeteries/bearden/index.html He was able to get the names of some of the people buried there. Unfortunately, he did not see any with the surname Clemens. Plus, they were older than the 1903 time frame you're referring to. The four that he could make out died in 1845 (Richard Bearden), 1855 (Ann Bennett, Richard Bearden's wife), 1822 (Peter Bennett, Ann's father and Revolutionary War soldier) and 1845 (Elizabeth Pomfret, Peter Bennett's wife and Ann's mother). I put this info here, in case any of these may be clues to connect to your great-grandmother.
The other reason I'm contacting you is that just yesterday afternoon, I was driving down Badgett Road and turned left on Tooles Bend Road. I looked back at the northeast corner of the intersection and I saw a grave stone! I have driven past here hundreds of times and never noticed it, usually because the grass is high and this time it was cut. I don't know if there's only one grave there or a whole cemetery, but when I have some free time soon I'm going to head back over there and see if I can find more graves and read any of the names. I don't know of any other Bearden cemetery in the area, but this one is just to the west of the Bearden cemetery you were asking about. It may be worth looking into, if you're still in the area. It looks like they're clearing out the lot next door, so they may be about to build some houses. Hopefully they won't move this grave or cemetery, but you never know what's going to happen when the developers get going.
Robert McGinnis' list on the web does not include any other Bearden cemeteries, either. He does say that at that Bearden cemetery, there are two other stones he couldn't read. He also said that the cemetery may be connected with the Bethesda Methodist Church, for which I don't have any information.
Anyway, I just wanted to pass this information on to you, in hopes that it may be useful. I hope that you get this message, all these years later!
