Hi Robert, I was trying to locate my Grt. Grt. Grandparents, their obits said they were taken to Wharton/Ebnezer Vault and I am assuming they were buried at the church yard at the M.E. Ebenezer church yard. This was located in the Southwark area. The graves I believe were removed in 1914 and I don't have a clue where they were taken. Obviously the church and the graves were removed. I have the history and a piture of the church and it did have a grave yard on both sides of it. A very nice lady I corresponded with did come up with obituary for me as follows;
Philadelphia Inquirer
March 5, 1877

MOODY.-On the 2nd instant, Mr. MATTHEW MOODY, aged sixty three years,
three months and eleven days.
The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to
attend the funeral, this afternoon, at 2 o'clock, for his late residence,
No. 317 McIlvain street. To proceed to Ebenezer Vault.
His wife, my grt grt grandmother Jane, I found her on the family search web site and it gave me info that she died 10 Aug 1882 and gave cemetery as Wharton St. Vault.
I was hoping to find out what they did with all those graves and stones that were at the church? I guess I will never find out. Thanks anyway Bob
