Mills, NM cemetery

I have been try to find information on my great grandparents. They were Emile and Belonie Oleffe. They emmigrated to the US from Belgium. They lived in Mills furing the 1918's, as found on my fathers uncles WW1 registration.

I believe they may have died during the Flu epidemic, because they don't show up anywhere after then. But their youngest daughter is found at the Lykens Children's Home and Hospital in Albequerque, NM in 1920. Does anyone have any ideas for me to search for death records and burial records from that far back.

All my relatives have been long gone and the family has very little information.

Thank you

JHarris

The California death index has a

[Elizabeth E Oleffe]
Social Security #: 569509812
Sex: FEMALE
Birth Date: 16 May 1922
Birthplace: New Mexico (!!)
Death Date: 1 Jan 1980
Death Place: Los Angeles
Mother's Maiden Name: Lambert
Father's Surname: Oleffe

She was born in NM after 1918 -- would this be a relative or possibly another child of the couple? It looks like other relatives settled in Wyoming and California. The name is not in the NM Death index but that can be spotty.

Mr. Harris were you ever able to find any information on your family? There is also another cemetery near Mills that is called Mestenito Cemetery. I myself haven't found any information via the web as far as names of people buried there. I have family buried in Mills/Mestenito. Have plans to go out there next summer to do some research.
