I will find people buried in Jersey City Holy Name cemetery A-Z prior to December 1984

I can find names with plot# and date of burial for people buried in the cemetery, all names A-Z.

Please give me ...Names Only ......and just a few at time. (after I respond to you, send me more).

If you're a paid genealogist, I'll have to think about it. (I check your posted messages first, so be honest)

Email me directly- foredsemaiL123@yahoo. com

I will have to email you the results. I have digitized these files (photos).

If you give me just a surname, I will send you all the names listed for that surname. (it could be 10 or more photos, possibly 20, depending on the name) There are sometimes 40 names on a photo.

I hope this helps in your family search.

You are an angel sent from heaven. Thank you for offering this service. I have two relatives that are most likely there. They are not at Weehawken or Holy Name. Their names are below:

John Hauser (1952 to possibly 1906)
Delia a.k.a. Bridget Cody (1864-After 1944)

Other Hausers:
Elizabeth
Ernst
Rebecca
John B.

Thank you!

Hi, Holy name is in jersey city, but you said they are not there. Are they possibly in holy cross in no. arlington? I am able to go to holy cross if you are sure your relatives are not in holy name. Many people confuse the two.Let me know. Barbara

Hi Barbara,

I know for sure they are in Holy Name. I got the grave card from someone on Rootsweb, but am unable to go to the cemetery. Is it possible for you to get a picture of it? The grave information is "K, Cz, 26". Not sure how to read this though. Can you also go to Weehawken Cemetery? My great grandparents are there. I can pay your transportation there.

Thanks so much,

David

Hi, I am confused about your request. If the family is not at holy name or weehawken, then do you mean holy cross in no. arlington?.I recently had lookups in holy cross, and found the names Cody among the family I was looking for.Let me know if you still need assistance, that is if no one else is helping you. Barbara

Hi Barbara,

Don't worry about the Holy Cross relatives. I know of the grave plot info for the following relatives of mine. They are below. What I need is a photograph of the tombstone. Are you able to do this? Thank you David

Weehawken Cemetery:
John & Bertha Stroebele
Plot: Block 47, Row 8, Grave 35

Holy Name Cemetery:
Otto and Julia Stroebel (and son Robert)
I don't have the grave info w/me today. I will get it tomorrow.

Wow, that's so generous of you!! I wish there were more people like you willing to help others.

I'm looking for the Meers family and Kenney family. That's a very common name but specifically, I'm looking for Patrick and Mary Ann Kenney and Patrick and Bridget Meers. Thanks so much!!

I'm looking for my husband's family. His great-great-great grandmother was Eliza Dressel; I believe her son Ludwig is also buried there. Please, if you would, forward information on any Dressel you may have. Thank you! Kim Dressel
