If you know anyone who has information about this cemetery, PLEASE contact me. You may have a elderly relative that may know something about that cemetery. The funeral home and the cemetery caretakers do not have/or can not locate the master sheets of this cemetery. Please Help!!!!!

My family is trying to find the location of our maternal grandparents grave site( there probably wasn't an original marker for either grave sites to begin with). Both died in 1945 & 1946 and there has been some difficulty in locating any lay-out papers showing where anyone was buried. Someone had mentioned that there was a fired and papers where destroyed. What governing dept. would have a copy of who was actually buried there? County,State, Feds? Some organization should have access or know how to go about finding this information out. The forties should be not that hard to find information on. You can always e-mail me at my address listed. thank you.

If it's a Catholic cemetery, have you tried the local Arch Archdiocese?

Ethel,
I do not have access to this document that you are talking about. What does it say? It is my maternal grandfather they are talking about. You can email me back the information at my email add: evankirk@dds.ca.gov Thank you.. The correction spelling is Mierzwinski.

I read with interest your query. I was born and raised in Trenton, and my parents are buried there. My husband and I walked through the cemetery looking for your family name. We found a similar name: Mierzwicki (John and Catherine). There were many old, unreadable stones, some crosses with no names, and probably several unmarked. We do know someone who works at the Trenton Arch Diocese. We thought about contacting her to see if she could help us find an unmarked grave in my family and we could inquire about your family name as well.

I know this is an incredibly old thread, but I am hoping that someone, janetk, is still around to help me out. I have some relatives buried in this cemetery as well. The surname I am looking for is Shelmet. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.

Michael, I live a few miles Trenton & could walk around the cemetery & see if I can find Shelmets. However, today we got about 7" of snow! I would not make the trip till the weather improved & the ground is not a muddy mess. We have had snow on the ground since early January.
