I am looking for information regarding the death and burial of my great-grandfather, Alfred Poulson. The family moved to Goodrich in April 1898. He was a farmer. His wife Susanna, their daughter Alta & a son, Lloyd, are buried in the Evangelical Assoc. Cemetery. I have photos of the graves which appear to be in a family plot.

Alfred died in 1911, I have not been able to locate his place of burial. The funerals of his wife and children were handled by Rev. A.M. Wiley of the Methodist Episcopal church.

Alfred's family members all died a few years before he did in 1911.

I would contact the cemetery to determine whether he was perhaps buried in the family plot. It might be that he was buried but money was not paid to do the inscription on the tombstone.

Interestingly, Alfred is not included in the North Dakota Department of Health's Public Death Index. I also checked for spelling variations.

I don't find a burial or obituary for him in 1911 in any state.

Where did you get the death date of 1911?

I see he was living with daughter Myrtle in Lamont, Sheridan County, ND, and she remains in that county through 1920. It would make sense that Alfred was buried in that county.
