Tate
Need help finding an index to this cemetery. My Ancestor Joseph Tate is said to be listed on the monument for the cemetery (would love a photo of that!) Am also looking for other family that may be in this cemetery.
It is located between Laurel and Park City Montana.
Thank so much.
Ginger

The cemetery you refer to is just north of Park City and surrounded by private land. I have access to it if you still need photos. Most the the people buried there were moved to the Cemetery in town but there are 3-4 markers left.

Thanks so much for your response! I have found a lot of my ancestors moved from Oregon to Montana in the early 1880's and can find them around Park City, but have been unable to find their grave sites, or death dates. Those I am most interested in are: Anyone with surname Tate, or Huntley, and Pleasant and Sarah Young.
I did find a newspaper article in 1955 where the cemetery was dedicated, with a monument. Is this the same one on the private land?
I know for sure that Joseph Tate died 1884. Jacob Tate died 1884. And Pleasant and Sarah Ann were "very feeble" in 1884. All around Park City.

Did you ever find your answers? I have a listing for the cemetery in Park City south of town where most in the area are buried. I did not find any matching the ancestors you were looking for. Here is the link.

I was just at the Monument that was dedicated in 1955 and was also there at the time it was dedicated. Joseph Tait is listed but, none of the others you name. Have photo if you are interested.
