My Great Uncle, Patrick Gahan Foley died in Warm Springs Montana, and was buried in Anaconda, but had lived in
Lambert, Montana prior to that. How can I find his burial records? I am trying to find out where he lived in Lambert?
He had a number (30) horses and 1 stallion and one milk cow which were auctioned off after his death in Warm Springs State Hospital on 7/20/1935 and he was buried in Anaconda Montana. I was wondering if there is a historical society in Lambert? or how I would go about finding where he lived? He also should have had a brand registered in his name with that amount of livestock.
I live in San Carlos, Sonora Mexico at the moment. My husband and I did make a trip up
to Montana many years ago and that is when I found out that he had died.
When they auctioned off all of his stuff, there was one trunk with "junk" how I would have loved to have been able to have gone through it.
This Patrick Gahan Foley took my Father, John Foley back to Ireland first going to New York
to pick him up after his father had died. My father was 9 years old in 1901 when this occurred.. While Patrick was in Ireland he received a telegram stating that they were running something through his ranch. He put my father in boarding school and left.
Thank you in advance for any information that you could give me, Veronica Foley Mooney
