Recently, I have been cleaning up an old cemetary dating back to 1837 at the very least in Shuqualak, MS. The name of the cemetery is Mohegan Cemetery. I have compiled a list of some of the surnames in my subject matter. If interested in knowing more details, please let me know. I am trying to find people whose ancestors are buried here and that still care about their place of burial. The cemetery needs a lot of work, but has plenty of potential to beautiful and is definitely one of the oldest in the state of MS.
