On a recent trip to Linn Cemetery in Wentzville, I came across these broken stones under a tree. They are hard to read but I thought I would record them incase someone in the future needs to find them.

I have noticed recent obituaries refering to South Linn cemetery. Is this one and the same as Linn Cemetery or are they devided?

South Linn Cemetery is located on the far south end of Linn Cemetery. Many buried there are Lutheran

Nancy, I found out where the Logan stones came from . As I was looking in the cemetary books I remembered your post. In Vol 5 pg 47 of the Cemetary Books by Lucille Wiechens published in 1988 Lucille states These stones were moved to Linn Cemetary from the Logan Cemetary near Flint Hill by Pitman Funeral Home. They were originally located on Mexico Rd(old route 9), east of Flint Hill.The cemetary was originally read in 1925 by Mary McEhenly in her book "Gone But Not Forgotten" It does not say why they were moved and more strangly does not indicate if the bodies moved with them. Hope that clears up the mysery a little.
