I'm desperately trying to find my husbands gg grandfather Cornelius Connely. Last record I can find on him is Shiloh, Edgar County, Illinois 1870 census (age 52). Next the family is found in 1880 Clay, Linn County, Missouri and wife Amanda is listed as a widow.

If someone should come across any Connely (Connelly, Conely, Connley) tombstones I'd love to find out where Cornelius is buried and his death year.
