Crescent Cemetery

Does anyone know where the Crescent Cemetery would be located. I know where Crescent is, and drove all around but could only find one cemetery that borders I-44 and it is a private family cemetery. I wonder if Crescent had it's own city cemetery.
Thanks
Cathie

This one also called Lewis Cemetery. From I-44 head for Crescent, go past church & country club entrance. Turn right before railroad tracks and you'll come to it. One description is Allen Road east of Lewis Road. I copied the headstones a few years ago. A site you can visit for cemeteries in St Louis is slpl.lib.mo.us (St Louis City Library site)

Joyce,
The road right past the Country Club now has signs stating "No Admittance,Private Property". I think someone bought all the property past the Country Club. I guess if I want to get a photo of a headstone, I will have to find out who owns it and get permission to enter. Thanks for all your work. I did find the listing for Rev. William Lowe and his wife in the Cemetery Book at the St. Louis Genealogical Library.
