I know this reply is a long time after the other remarks, but I wanted to add this in case someone is going to this cemetery. I was there last week for the first time in 40 years. The surrounding area is really run down and very rough looking, but the cemetery is still nice. I was looking for my uncle's grave and ask in the office if they could help me. They now charge $5 to look up a grave that has been there more than 6 months. We did find what we were looking for. If you have a grave marked with the flat markers, they seem to sink with time. I noticed some graves where the markers had sunk, the top filled in with grass and dirt, so you wouldn't know there was a grave there except for an indentation in the ground where the marker was. My uncle was buried there in 1967 and his still looked okay. It was starting to sink a little, and a groundskeeper told me it would need a new cement slab under it.
It's a shame that area has gone downhill. My grandparents lived near the cemetery and we lived at
Harper and Outer Drive when I was very small. At that time, it was a great area - of course that was 50 years ago!!
