Just to update the Board...John Henry McCloskey (son of John and Sarah McCloskey) was actually born on 1 Dec 1868 and went to New Orleans and eventually was based at Port St Philip where he opened a Bar room / Saloon...on 8 february 1998. His main customers were likely soldiers and government workers. He was killed on 26 Jun 1903 when a fight broke out in his bar and he intervened to break it up, and was hit on the head by a soldier. He died. I don't know what happened to the soldier.....
