I posted this under the wrong classification and so I am reposting it in the right one.(I hope) I had an answer and it was deleted before I could read it.
My great g-parents are buried at the Fairview cemetery in Greensburg. I am coming from out of state to vist the cemetery and I need the address and if possible a look up at the cemetery. If I could find out what section they are buried in so I would have an idea where to start.
Anyone have a list of the people buried there? A caretaker?
Buried there that I know of are my gg-grandparents.
George Washington Garrison(G.W.) born 4-26-1844, died 11-13-1912. His wife Nancy J. Garrison, born 11-25-1848, died 8-21-1916. There may be other family members of Fisher or O'Conner.
Hope someone can help me.
Thanks

I am about to give up! Every time I get an email saying I have received a reply to my message, I go to the board and nothing shows up. Where is the reply going? I have received several emails saying a reply has been made to my message and nothing has shown up.
Help!

Are you then able to see the other replies I have received? Your reply is the only one I have been able to read. I wonder why that is? I knew about the tornado and I have prayed for the people of Greensburg. My brother and I only want to stop at the cemetery and see our g-grandparents graves on our way to Wichita, Ks. Coming home after being gone from Ks. 50 years.
Why would you say don't come? I appreciate your advise and I thank you for the reply.
Regards

Yes, I've been able to read all of the replies. Everyone is advising you that only residents are allowed into the city as the military is on site. Most of the city has been destroyed and is uninhabitable. The condition of the cemetery is unknown. Therefore you need to call ahead if you are insistant about going.
To ensure contact with other members of this site, you should update your personal email address on your " public profile". (see the upper left item).
Then when these replys get lost we can still contact you.

I changed my personal email name to show so that replies can be sent directly to me if needed. I would sure like to read all the replies I received.
I will consider the information you gave me and we may have to change our plans about stopping in Greensburg. I am glad to find out all the information I can. Again I appreciate your reply.
