I am trying to find the burial place , what cemetery,
of James Mark Ferguson born August 1946 in NJ and died 2003 in Pompano Beach ,Fla.
I did find the SS Death Index record, but I want to find where he is buried.
If anyone knows how to look up cemetery records, I would appreciate some advice on how to do that.
thank you

Cshradel, it is very easy to get the burial location off of the death certificate. Anyone can order a FL death cert without the cause of death, or with cause of death if the death date is over 50 years ago. Here is how you can get the information if you don't already have it.
Bureau of Vital Statistics in Jacksonville, FL.

The details of burial and grave location will be included. Death certs are not that expensive and the turn around time is very reasonable.

All you need are: Name, date of death and the county. You will not get cause of death because of privacy laws, but anyone can order a death certificate without cause of death. Go to the website
http://www.floridahealth.gov/certificates/certificates/

click on this link:
DH727 Application for a Death Record (English PDF 55KB)

Print it out and mail it in with a check. It is cheaper than VitalCheck, but that is an option if you want to use credit card.
