Rosanna Scott (nee Haley),from Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, was the widow of Ebenezer Scott (1801-1851). In the 1900 US census, she was 89 or 90 years old living with her son-in-law Thomas Richards and daughter Isabella in the town of Orange, New Haven, Connecticut. In the 1910 US federal census, Thomas and Isabella are living in Bristol, Massachusetts. Rosanna is not with them. My assumption is she died between 1900 and 1910, probably in Connecticut but possibly Massachusetts.
I have contacted the Connecticut State Office of Vital Records but they were unable to find a record of death. Before contacting the state of Massachusetts, I thought I'd ask if someone here might be able to provide information...a death record, tombstone information or whatever.
Many thanks.
