Garrett in Arkansas

I am searching for Charles D. Garrett Sr. (b1892) and Elsie Belle Hodge Garrett (b1898) - they are buried in a cemetery somewhere off of Highway 9 close to a baptist church. Does anyone know a cemetery that fits this description that might be a starting point?
I am desperately trying to find the name of their parents to continue the family research. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you,
Debo

You might help us to help you, if you could track down a county or town they lived in at some time. Typically the census is used for this purpose but perhaps you have some other documentation. That would help us figure out what cemeteries might fit.

The 1900 census shows Charles D Garrett in Plumerville, Conway County, AR aged 5 Years old.
His father was Charles M Garrett b.1865 in Tennessee. His mother was Emma, b. 1888 in Arkansas.
Highway 9 runs North and South through Conway County, Arkansas. Good luck finding the cemetery.

You are referring to Faulkner County, Arkansas. This will help to narrow it down.
Directly off highway 9 there are two cemeteries, Kilgore & Friendship. No churches.
Off Highway 92, there is Mt Pleasant Baptist church & cemetery. The cemetery is actually set way back on another road behind the church.

Oakgrove Cemetery is off highway 9 & 267 right in the town of Morrilton. No church.

This is about all I can find.

if I can be of any more help knjsmom@hotmail.com

Ok, this is my third post, I just found two children of Charles M. & Emily Fagg Garrett.

They are in Mt Pleasant Cemetery in Plummerville, Faulkner CO. Arkansas. There are 14 Garrett buried here. There is again no Church, though there is an open covered area for funerals, and it is located down a dirt road. If I remember correctly.

Not to belabor the point, but Plumerville is and always has been in Conway County, Arkansas. The Faulkner County Line is some 7.5 miles east of Plumerville. If you are looking for records of this Garrett Family, they will be in the Conway County courthouse.

Thank you, I will check it out on my next trip to AR. I wish I could supply with a little more info, but it has taken a while to get this much info. This at least gives me a couple of places to check.

I have not really been successful in finding census records for them. I do have a WWI draft registration card for Charles D where he lists his location of birth to be ??Rubycorn?? or something similar in Saline County AR. However, how accurate that is or is not, I am not sure, but it is what I am running with for now.
Thanks!
