There are many Armit's buried in the Scoonie cemetery but I am searching for one in particular. William Armit was buried December 24, 1779. He would have been about 46 years of age. His wife was Agnes Lees. There would also have been at least 5 of his children buried there also between 1762 and 1783.
I am looking for someone in the area that may know if William Armit had a marker and if it is still there?
