Oh my goodness! Thank you so much Cindi! I would have never been able to figure this all out on my own. You are the BEST! The letters were the most difficult for me to decipher. T's and R's and S's, etc. I couldn't be certain on any of them. Thank you for making my day. The family that I'm trying to find left from Saris (Located I believe in the North East section of Slovakia) in 1882 to locate near to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to work in the coal mines. Andreas Talian (born Apr 1858) married to Maria (born Jun 1860) and their son Andreas Steve Talian (born Oct 17 1880). I'm not even certain on the original spelling of Andreas and Maris's last name. They used several varations on documents. They had 5 sons and of them they each used a different variation for the spelling of their last name. I've been stuggling for years trying to find records in Slovakia that match to the family. This record was the closest that I've been able to find to date. I've never been able to nail down the village where they were from.
Again, I thank you kindly for your assistance!
Have a good one....Sandy
