Basically the funeral industry is regulated, cemeteries are not. Lot of examples, in the 60 Minutes tradition.

Rep from a consumer watchdog group said, in my words, abuses are common and widespread. Unfortunately I did not get the name of the watchdog organization, perhaps someone can check it out and post here for all of us.
