Lois, thanks for all the insightful information! I am pretty sure he came to the US as an individual, leaving his parents in Poland. In the 1920 census, he was listed as an alien. He died in 1929. It could be he never even declared intention. Is this an accurate assumption or was it a requirement for all immigrants? I was under the impression it was not a requirement...
