The death certificate information was transcribed by the clerk. I called today and they are sending me a photocopy of what she transcribed from their register. I'm not sure it's even the actual certificate. The woman was pretty sure the age was 35 though. This is coming from a small town in Perry, NY.

I was recently able to find an obituary, which stated he was 35 years old, so it looks like I should actually go with the death certificate birth date, which also has him as 35. Thoughts?

Hopefully, the photocopy will help me with the maiden name of his mother. I am almost certain the clerk transcribed it wrong! :)
