I don't know if this will be him but you can go to this link, http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=58.... The headstone has a little child praying and it says Gary Alan Thorsen, Jan. 11, 1982 - July 17, 1986, Brother of April, Daniel & Sandra.

He is buried in the Lone Fir Pioneer Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. You can contact the contributor, http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=mr&MRid=47... and see if she has any information regarding Gary. Also you can contact the library in Portland and ask them to look up the obituary. The cemetery would also have owners information for the grave and which funeral home handled his body and funeral. The funeral home can also provide family information or forward your name to the family.
