I am hoping that someone may be able to help or at least point me in the right direction! I am trying to find monumental inscriptions for the SKINNER family in Tummel Cemetery (& Castleavery Cemetery) for cousins of mine, who are also related to this family.
John SKINNER was born in 1841 in Pitsligo, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, died in 1919 in Shell Mouth, Manitoba and was buried in Tummel Cemetery. His wife Isabella SCOTT was born in 1841 in Pitsligo, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, died in 1933 (location unknown) and was buried in Castleavery Cemetery.
They had 11 children, all born in Scotland
-Ann(ie) SKINNER b 1864 d 1957, m John ROBERTSON
-Mary SKINNER b 1866 d 1912, buried Tummel, m Frederick George RICHARDSON
-Isabella SKINNER b 1868 d 1952 m Joseph DUGAN
-Christian SKINNER b 1870 d 1948 m John Allan ANDERSON
-Helen Youngson SKINNER b 1872 - must have died in infancy
-Helen (Nellie) Youngson SKINNER b 1874 d 1956, m Frederick George RICHARDSON (as above with Mary)
-Alexander John SKINNER b abt 1877 d 1950 (unknown if married)
-Clementina SKINNER b abt 1879 d 1966, m Edward Tyrell LEWIS
-William SKINNER b abt 8/1880 d 1961, m Marion LLOYD
-Hugh SKINNER b abt 8/1880 stillbirth twin
-Francis (Frank)Leith SKINNER b abt 1882 d 1967, m Helen CUMMING
I believe most of these people are located in Tummel Cemetery and would really appreciate any look-ups that anybody could do - as being in Aberdeen, Scotland, I am a bit far away to pop round and have a look myself!!!
Thanks in advance
