Hilaire CHARLEBOIS is a First World War war dead whose burial location is currently unknown. He was born at L’Original, (near Hawkesbury), ON in 1872. At the time of his enlistment he was residing at 449 Rue Beaubien, Montreal. His Next of Kin was listed as his wife, Celine CHARLEBOIS who was residing at 486 Mount Royal Ave. or 689 rue Beaubien, Montreal at the time of her husband’s death. His religion was RC. He was serving at the Engineer Training Depot, Ottawa. He died in Montreal on 29 April 1916 at the age of 41 in accordance with the obituary from La Presse dated Monday 1 May 1916. He is believed to be buried in Montrael, QC and it has been confirmed that he is not in Notre Dame des Neiges or Mount Royal.
