I notied your post about having a lot of names from the cemtery in Mont Saint Gregoire. My ancestors were from Scotland and settled in what was then called MT JOHNSON at it's earliest beginnings. THey went to a parish church called St Mary, later called Ste Marie De Monnoir. His name was John McRae spelled Macrae, Mccrae etc. We think his wife's name was Catherine (Mcintosh) McRae. We know that John and Catherine were having children in Mt Johnson as early as 1806. He was born about 1767 in Scotland. His family stayed in the area until about 1840, then moved to Ontario. We think the reason they moved was his death. He would have been too old to move with them. Are there any McRae's or variant's of the spelling in your cemetery records? Any help would greatly be appreicated... Lance McRae
