Virginia Vital Records Collection?

They had a big announcement at the beginning of the year about what was coming up, one of which was the Virginia Vital records collection, which I'm assuming includes death certificates up to about 1965. I called customer support, and was informed it was coming in May. May is almost over and nothing to be seen.
I re-subscribed with the assumption that this collection would be made available, but I've seen no mention of it since. Has the project been cancelled?

I'm very please about the new Virginia vital records just posted. I have been doing a great deal of research in Virginia and even in West Virginia and it's great to have these new images. Speaking generally about death certificates, I would love to see all the state and foreign countries with death certificates. In today's world where we find more and more that certain diseases and/or conditions run in families, it's wonderful to find out what our near ancestors died from. Being from Texas, I find Texas death certificates up through 1980 and maybe more in some cases and I have found the death records for all my grandparents and some of my great grandparents. I've found that a condition I suffer from has been very prevalent in my ancestors. This helps when filling out health questionaires.

And they just posted divorce records last night!

Right away, I found my aunts death cert, and was so happy. The cause of her sudden death years ago was a mystery to me.

Many other treasures: a cousin who had fell off the grid was found via her death cert. Maiden names of in-laws, and so on. And yes, those death certs have much useful info.

Looks like these records are VERY popular, as the site seems to be a bit overwhelmed at times.

So, if PA could get updates, as well as MD & DC, I will be over the moon!

FamilySearch just posted some new DC marriages a few days ago. PA deaths are up to 1963.

I have the opposite problem. I have all these holes from 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries.
