I might be a bit slow on the uptake, but I've just worked out that the 1911 Census introduced 2 new England Counties - ROYAL NAVY and MILITARY. What I can't work out is how to get to these records directly through the Ancestry Search screen.

If I restrict the search to either of these (exact) I get zero results and not restricting the search doesn't help. The only way I have been able to get there is by viewing an image (any image), selecting the County hyperlink at the top of the page (which brings up the Browse images window - see attached), selecting Royal Navy from the County drop-down list, then selecting a Civil Parish (eg Hampshire or China) which then give you the Enumeration District - Vessels.

Great! But who wants to then scan through the 57 images in the Hampshire collection on the off chance of finding the proverbial needle in a haystack?

Can anyone help? There must be an easier way that I'm just not getting.
